This week we have a special speaker, Randy Draper. Randy is the founder of HeartSpring Media and is among the most successful leaders in the direct sales industry. Randy encourages thousands of business people across the country each year to reach their full potential both spiritually and in the business realm. He and his wife Elizabeth have been married 27 years and have two children, Kyle and Kevin.
Afterward, I know you’ll be pumped about the marriageability series by John Meador. Seriously, you’re not going to want to miss this content from Ephesians 5. Are you married, no. But, Ephesians 5 is going to blow your mind as you consider the way you’re living today. The series is geared for everyone, not just the married type. Wanna be content, date-able, or marriab-le?
And finally, this week the singles are going to be hosting some special guests after worship back over in Campus West. That’s right, it is POT LUCK time! Celebrating our heritage as people who congregate around food, aka baptists, we’re going to be bringing some grub. (University, we’d have one for y’all, but y’all don’t bring any guests!) We’re bustin’ out the tables and lining up grub for everyone to bring for a feast. The meat, Brisket, will be provided. It’s your job to bring either salad, side, or dessert. RSVP and post what you’re bringing on the facebook event wall.
Next Wednesday we’ll be taking a break from our kicking trek through Judges for the wrap up of the Urgent Church Series. The last part of Jesus’ ministry multiplication cycle, which is to be a vital part of our DNA, is the EXTEND portion. Don’t miss hearing some amazing stories from our friends who were sent on mission to Africa a couple of weeks ago. If you know people who come to Connection, but not to the Wednesday Gathering… get ‘em.
