theGATHERING

The Gospel is the power of God for salvation to all who believe. It is central, foundational, essential to everything we are about at theGATHERING. Without it–the cross and the resurrected life–we are to be pitied the most. The Gospel is about the transformation of individuals by the power of the Holy Spirit, which is a story worth telling. Yet, it gets even more glorious when God puts those marked by the Gospel in community together. This is where we tell some of those stories. This is what we celebrate, this is the big win, worthy of high fives and good games. It is what we sing about, the story we all constantly tell, and the thing that reminds us once again of the one who became sin for us so that we might be the righteousness of God through Him.
