Membership is more than having access to the country club, wearing a jacket from the 80′s, or being able to buy in bulk. Membership is a covenant relationship between a body of believers, where believers are called to a higher degree of responsibility, service, and sacrifice. By becoming part of this covenant community, you are committing to be part of a spiritual family that will walk with you as you grow in Christ. Our pastoral staff and leadership covenant with you to exercise oversight of all members by providing pastoral care, counsel, prayer, and exhortation in sound doctrine.

Is Church Membership Biblical?
Yes. A church consists of a local group of people trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord. Much of the New Testament is composed of writings to specific churches. In addition, God’s Word provides specific qualifications for church leaders and gives essential instruction to individuals within the local church.
What is required for church membership?
- First, all members must have a personal relationship with God by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Second, all prospective members must have been or be willing to submit to Believer’s Baptism. Believer’s Baptism is defined as baptism that takes place after salvation to symbolize what God has already done in the believer’s life. First Euless believes that baptism should be by immersion. A staff minister will be glad to follow up with you and give you further information.
- Third, all prospective members are asked to attend the Believe Membership Class. This class is an orientation designed to help you get the best possible start as a new member of First Euless. The class is led by our staff. You will learn about the history of First Euless, the vision of our church, and about the part you can play in its future direction. Believe Class is usually held once a month on the second Sunday of the month from 9:15 am – 11:45 am. Breakfast and child care are provided, and a complimentary DVD of that morning’s service is also provided, so you don’t miss a thing.
How can I join First Euless / theGATHERING?
There are many ways you can join First Euless.
- You can visit any one of our worship services and join at the conclusion of that service.
- You may visit our Guest Reception room located in the Main foyer of our Worship Center. Our Guest Reception room is open immediately following each worship service.
